Vehicle Transportation Within the United States

Shipping of your new vehicle is available to all locations within the United States at very reasonable rates. We have been selling cars over the internet for a number of years now, and are very familiar with the process of delivering vehicles to out-of-state buyers, anywhere from New York to California. In the event that our help is needed finding a shipping company, we will be more than happy to be of assistance and find you wholesale shipping rates. Of course, you are welcome to do your own research, and work with the shipping company of your choice.

Once a vehicle is purchased, it can be shipped via ground transportation to any one of the states. From the time of the order, pick-up usually takes between 3 - 5 business days, and delivery can take anywhere between 3 days - 2 weeks, depending on the destination. The buyer has a choice of the vehicle being delivered straight to a directed address or the vehicle can be left at a general drop-off location, and the buyer can then pick it up at their discretion. Each shipping company has their own rules and regulations.

Note: prior to any vehicle pick-up, the purchased vehicle must be paid for in full. Otherwise, it will not be released.

Vehicle Transportation Overseas

Shipping of your new vehicle overseas consists of three main steps:

• Transportation of vehicle from our lot to US port of choice (1-3 days).
• Transportation of vehicle via vessel to international port of choice.
• Pick-up of vehicle by customer from international port.

Transportation of vehicle from our lot to US port of choice:

In the case that Sunrise Motors, Inc. will be handling all your shipping arrangements: You will be given a certain rate for your vehicle shipment to your international port of choice. This fee will be added to the price of the vehicle. If needed, we can transport your vehicle from our lot to a port in the US. This fee will vary depending on the distance from our lot to the port. Any distance exceeding 20 miles will incur a charge for delivery. Please call our office for exact rates.

Transportation of vehicle to international port of choice:

International vehicle transportation is carried out through one of several carriers (Maersk, MSC, etc.). Vehicles are shipped in standard-sized containers (20 or 40 feet) in which vehicles are held in place by special fixtures. Each 40 foot container holds 2 – 3 vehicles, depending on the size of the vehicles.

If you do not have three vehicles to ship at once, your shipping fee will be considerably less if you consolidate your vehicle(s) with others. For example, if you are shipping one SUV, the shipping company can consolidate it with two other vehicles of the appropriate size to fit these three vehicles into one container.

Customer is fully responsible for vehicle pick up from their international destination port. Please familiarize yourself with the port’s customs regulations and all necessary documents needed for vehicle pick-up.
